We offer fee-based construction support services as well as many free links and important information that you need to know in order to help ensure your current, or future, home building or renovation experience is both enjoyable and rewarding.
Home building and repair has been around for a very long time so it seems like we should be getting pretty good at it. Unfortunately, things change, so just as we start getting good at building one way, science comes out with new evidence to show what we are doing is all wrong. New cures and new products are developed to correct problems we never knew we had just a few years before. Energy efficiency has once again taken center stage, and will continue to be a major component of any building project.
So home building and renovation is a constant learning process. It is not rocket science, but it definitely helps to have a certain level of knowledge and experience in order to produce a successful project. Builders need to stay on top of the latest developments in building related science and technology, construction procedures, as well as new building codes and regulations. Homeowners need to be more educated about the decisions they make.
Project planning, coordination or management, and oversight are also more important than ever before. New products and procedures need to be done correctly and in the proper sequence in order perform as intended. Builders and homeowners need to understand and communicate each others expectations. Cost continues to be a most important consideration.
